Characters of God series

Journeying into the divine is like walking on hot coals of fire; the farther you go, the more your feet burns and changes into the image of the fire until the fire doesnt hurt you any longer.

Who is GOD? 

GOD is both a person and a place i.e. he is a person that lives in himself (God is not a male/female). Therefore God cant interact with anything in eternity because God is consuming at the very core (invisible); So in the light of that, God choose to be visible; seen within all creations. 

This God for the first time step out of himself yet being within himself (Word). To be able to do these, he had to die; that was why the scriptures said, the Lamb has been slain from before the foundation of the world. This death made him to become visible person of the invisible GOD. Heb 1 2-4.

So, because he became visible, everything in creations can see him. But, mankind couldnt still see him because mankind has fallen from purpose. God sent his son in order to fully reveal him unto humanity because the revelation of God before the person of Jesus is a shade of many hue color i.e. it needs proper sieving to correctly articulate the color range.

Jesus came to visibly reveal God unto mankind because as soon as mankind see Gods fullness, they will be able to reflect that God whom they have seen to creations and beyond. Jesus came to reflect the person of the visible one who reflects the invisible. So, throughout all his earthly engagements, he was reflecting the image of ONE

God as Merciful

From the Old Testament, many pictures were painted of a God who is not full of mercy;

When the Israelites murmured and complained to Moses about the food and water, as soon as they did that, they were judged in that they will not enter the landing flowing with milk and honey..

So Jesus came to paint the complete picture of the visible one. Remember the woman caught in the act, he showed us there the full scope of Gods perspective to man. Jesus didnt condemn her but discharges her as a result of his mercy.

Peter who was anointed as the Leader of leaders, when it mattered, he yet denied any affiliation with Jesus. When he was faced with Jesus upon ascension, Jesus didnt fuzz about what happened but looks at him with a beauty and hope that broke his heart into several pieces; whereas upon his death, he proclaimed that he wasnt worthy of the same posture of Jesus when he was about to be killed on the cross.

The thief on the right hand, had a track record of notioriousity and rebellion so also Barnabas. When the thief saw how that he was judged for what they knew he didnt do, he asked if there is any sign of mercy to be showed on him, yet Jesus said that today you will be with me in my paradise.
