The Santuary; Don’t desecrate your sanctuary

From Gen 1: 26 -28, the way man was created and formed; He was designed such that he is a temple or sanctuary. These men were instructed on how to live and be sustained as a temple (Gen 29 & 36). The sanctuary is supposed to function in a particular way. The right way to function is to eat from the tree of knowledge of life i.e to fellowship with godliness.

This temple that man is has many gates or chambers. He is to use his different chambers accordingly if not the gate is going to be frustrated. (when something is not in use for its original purpose). Whatever a man does with his gates has a way of blessing or destroying the sanctuary or temple that he currently is.

According to Gen 29 Pleasing to the eyes.. i.e Good for food

According to Gen 36 Pleasing to the eyes... i.e Good for food/Desirable for gaining wisdom

These were some of the gates man was supposed to use to fellowship with God but, from the moment he used it to fellowship with Satan, he began to work/ think like him. Gen 3: 7-8 (fruits of fellowshipping).

Yet man's gate was designed as a hotspot for divine light and Truth. Man must learn how to use his different gates accordingly

I will talk about 4 gates in this post.

The Eyes; man is supposed to use his eyes continually to look at the truth of God in the face of Jesus. Studying and imagining the word of God are ways man ought to learn

The Ears; faith comes through hearing so whatever a man hears continually, that is what he becomes. Also, listening to messages, true gospel for yourself and saying the same truths that the messages are describing to yourself must be practiced

Feelings; you must learn to use your mouth in a way that it triggers your feeling. Learn to arouse your feelings by using your mouth and thought. (The Gospel is the only inspired way)

Mouth: say only what you mean and mean what you say. Whatsoever you do with the gates that is not corresponding to the truth of God, it means that you are by yourself desecrating the sanctuary.

And whatever you sow, you will reap... I.e if you keep sowing bad things into your gates and you expect to reap good things despite the fact that you have accepted what Jesus Christ has done and his Lordship. Then it means you are a fool and a liar. You are the sanctuary/ temple, therefore don't desecrate your sanctuary with your unguarded actions.

However, if you have been desecrating it, relax.. Keep loading your gates with the truth of God (The Gospel). Start the process and stay with the process.

Grace!!!
